
Mountain Grass Fed Beef is a small family owned farm located in the far western tip of North Carolina in Cherokee County. This business
was started by Keith and Teresa Wood and we live on the farm that my father-in-law gave to my wife a few years ago. Keith has a full-time
job with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service as the Agriculture Agent. Teresa is an elementary school counselor at the local
school in Andrews. We believe this is important because people now want to know from who and where their food comes from.

Our mountain farm has an elevation of 2,000 feet with cool moist summers, ideal for growing quality forages. These animals have no added
hormones, antibiotics or fed any whole grains. Our belief is to raise our animals with the goal of producing the highest quality beef
